Summer Reads

gulfofmexicoSummer. It will be here before you know it. Soon school will be out and families will be going on vacation. Some will head to the beach, others to the mountains or perhaps faraway lands. I love the beach, and I try to take a beach vacation every summer. Someplace I can sit on a deck overlooking the ocean or Gulf of Mexico, and read. So right about now is when I start looking for good books to take with me.

the-gulf-of-mexico-onSo, help me out here. If I was heading for a beach vacation, can you recommend a book I shouldn’t leave without tucking into my suitcase?

  1. I’m not sure, but I hear the novel SPIDER’S DANCE by some fellow named Graham is pretty good…. 😉

  2. I could give you so many recommendations. Lol I really do recommend Ann Charles, if you haven’t read anything by her. She has three series, all are fantastic! But I warn you, her books are addictive. Terri Reid writes a paranormal series which are awesome too. Jill Shalvis if you love contemporary romance. I could go on and on but I will stop here. Lol

  3. Anything by Kathleen Brooks…I love her Bluegrass series, and her books remind me of yours. Romance, with humor, and suspense. Also there is usually a pet incorporated into the book. Her first one is Bluegrass State of Mind.
