I don’t know about you, but I’m getting a little crazy right now. I’ve been so busy with hubby’s health issues (he’s home now, so that’s great) and trying to finish my novella for my CC Hunter series, that I’ve sort of put Christmas on the back burner. But one look at the calendar, and I panic. I have a lot to get done between now and Christmas. But first things first–finish my novella. Then, kick into high gear and decorate my house and power shop.Wish me luck! Anyway, to help me, I went looking for some inspirational quotes. I found many, but these are a few of the ones I really liked. I hope they inspire you, too.
“Remember, if Christmas isn’t found in your heart, you won’t find it under a tree.”
~ Charlotte Carpenter.
“I will honor Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year.”
~ Charles Dickens (1812-1870), English author. From ‘A Christmas Carol’.
“They err who thinks Santa Claus comes down through the chimney; he really enters through the heart.”
~ Mrs. Paul M. Ell.
“Christmas gift suggestions: To your enemy, forgiveness. To an opponent, tolerance. To a friend, your heart. To a customer, service. To all, charity. To every child, a good example. To yourself, respect.”
~ Oren Arnold
“Do give books – religious or otherwise – for Christmas. They’re never fattening, seldom sinful, and permanently personal.”
~ Lenore Hershey
On that note, you may want to give a copy of The Cop Who Stole Christmas to a friend or ask for it from someone you love.
It’ll take a tall, hot Texan and a little holiday spirit to mend a broken heart and catch a Christmas killer . . .
Or you could make a friend happy and give them my Divorced and Desperate series.
