TurnedatDarkTurned at Dark

Independent and strong-willed Della Tsang did not believe in ghosts, until she sees her dead cousin in a dark alley. She did not believe in vampires, until she turns into one. Should she follow her vampire cousin’s lead and walk away from everything she knows, or join Shadow Falls, a camp for special teens?

Camp resident Della Tsang, who’s still coming into her own vampire powers, is assigned to help find those responsible. If she succeeds, maybe she’ll even land her dream job: working for the F.R.U., the enforcers of the supernatural world. But when she sees that her new partner is a hunky shapeshifter, things get complicated. Steve, too gorgeous to be trusted and capable of seeing through her tough-as-nails exterior, knows just how to get under her skin. And only hours into the mission, Della realizes rogue vampires aren’t the only threat she’s facing. If she’s ever going to complete her assignment, she’ll need his help…but learning to trust him will be her hardest challenge yet.

UnbreakableUnbreakable

He isn’t everything he says he is. He’s even more
Who is Chase Tallman, the newest member of Shadow Falls? What made him into the sexy, mysterious vampire he is today? And what led him to Della Tsang?
Step back in time and unearth the secrets that haunt him. The secret of how he became a vampire-and how he knows so much about being reborn. Secrets about his first love, his family–and what steers him toward Della, the beautiful, complicated girl he just can’t seem to stay away from. The one who makes him want things he thought he’d given up on long ago.
It all began with a research study, a palm reader, and a plane crash that sent him on a quest…for a love that’s unbreakable.

Spellbinder_revised3Spellbinder

When magic, romance and family secrets collide, the result is spellbinding!

Miranda Kane has always felt like a screw up–at least when it comes to her ability to wield magic. Her only sanctuary is Shadow Falls camp, where she’s learning to harness her powers as a witch. But thanks to her shapeshifter boyfriend who called it quits and ran off to Paris, both her heart and powers feel broken.

When she unexpectedly lands a top spot in a spell casting competition in France, she flies out with her best friends Kylie and Della. But her trip takes her straight into the heart of a dangerous supernatural mystery–and a heated romance. What Miranda doesn’t expect is for her investigation to unleash shocking revelations…about herself, her family, and her arch enemy. Now Miranda must step up and show everyone that she’s a witch to be reckoned with….before it’s too late.

AlmostMidnight[2]Fierce

Also included into the anthology is Fierce, a heart-warming story about Fredericka Lakota and her struggles to let go of her past and to find the future she deserves, but the one guy who challenges her the most will lead her to the life she’s always wanted.

Get ready to be knocked off your feet!!!

Now available in print for the first time in Almost Midnight, these enchanting novellas will reveal a side of the camp that you’ve never seen before…and live in your heart forever.

Murder, Mayhem and Mama—and a Giveaway!!

51cRNf6l5LL._SX310_BO1,204,203,200_I’ve got some exciting news to share with you. Murder, Mayhem and Mama is going on sale for only 99 cents soon!

BEING A MAMA IS HARD. BUT THE JOB’S EVEN TOUGHER WHEN YOU’RE DEAD . . .

Cali McKay’s mama isn’t ready to pass over to the “other side” yet. Her unlucky-in-love daughter needs her now more than ever. Before Mama can chain-smoke her way to heaven, she’s gotta make sure Cali’s ex deadbeat boyfriend doesn’t get her daughter killed.

GRIEF SUCKS. LOVE HEALS . . .

Cali lost her mom to cancer. Detective Brit Lowell lost his partner to murder. Now he’s in the mood to take down some dirtbags, and Cali’s ex just happens to be a dirtbag leaving a trail of dead bodies behind him. Can Brit trust this beautiful woman to help take down her ex? Can Cali look past this sexy cop’s hard exterior to trust him with her heart? Can life get any crazier when Mama starts meddling from the grave? Only one thing is for sure–none of it will matter unless they catch a killer before the killer catches them.

Thanks again for being fan! Happy New Year!!!!!!!!

Happy New Year!

h2016Happy 2016! It’s a new year and a time for new beginnings. Many of you make New Year’s Resolutions to lose weight, read more, quit smoking, exercise more, drink less, save more money, stop accidentally flashing your lawn men (or maybe that’s just me!), you know, the usual stuff.

Do you usually keep your resolutions? Most of us don’t. What can we do that will help us keep them? According The New York Times’ article Want to Keep Your New Year’s Resolutions? Consider the Consequences of Failing, it’s important to first set realistic goals. So no, odds are you aren’t going to look like a Victoria Secret model by the end Resolutiionsof the year. If you’ve figured out how to do that, send me the plan—now!  My husband and probably the lawn guys will appreciate it.  You also have to be specific, have a plan for reaching those goals.  As a writer, it’s especially important to set goals. I sometimes set specific page goals for the day and for the week.  Do I always make them?  No, but if I don’t set any goal, I’m almost guaranteed to meet that one.  Meaning, I don’t get crap done.  So I give myself a goal, but I also give myself a little wiggle room.  And finally, the NYT said if you want to keep your goals/resolutions, it helps to consider the consequences of failure. If you don’t lose weight, it could lead to a heart attack or diabetes. If you don’t save money, you may have to work longer before you can retire.  It’s very important for me to meet my writing goals or I won’t make my deadline. That makes my publisher unhappy, and I feel like I’ve let them down.

But remember, if you don’t reach a goal, don’t beat yourself up. Just get back in there and try again, even if it means starting over. Remember, you’re not a quitter until you quit.  One thing I’m doing is looking at the goals I set last year.  Some of them weren’t all that realistic.  This year, most of mine are more attainable.  Instead of “only eat a few carbs” I’m moving to, “eat a few less carbs.”  And this year, I’m giving myself more rewards.  It just won’t always be a box of chocolates.

So, what are some of your resolutions? Anyone else need to stop flashing your lawn guys?

Oh, and because I’m asking you to share, I’ll share a few more of mine.

1. Exercise at least five days a week.

2. Eat less processed food.

3. Take more time to appreciate the good things:  Friends, family, career successes.

4. Find something to laugh about every day. We should all have that one on our lists!
